Verretex Wins Youth Prize and Overall Impact Competition at Startup Nights

Recognized by Investors, Experts, and the Next Generation
Verretex is proud to have received two additional distinctions at Startup Nights 2025, further reinforcing its leadership in impact-driven innovation:
- Winner of the CHF 5,000 Youth Prize, powered by Bloom Foundation
- Winner of the Overall Impact Competition, powered by UBS
The Youth Prize is particularly meaningful, as it was awarded following an evaluation by 140 students from Kantonsschule Büelrain Winterthur, who assessed impact startups using real investor criteria. Under the guidance of their teachers, the students evaluated teams based on business model strength, traction, clarity of vision, and pitch performance—bringing a fresh, rigorous, and forward-looking perspective to the competition.
Being selected both by this student jury and as the overall impact winner reflects the strength of Verretex’s technology, business fundamentals, and long-term potential to deliver measurable environmental and societal impact.
Verretex’s solution—transforming recycled glass fiber waste into high-performance textile reinforcements—addresses critical challenges in resource efficiency, waste reduction, and circular manufacturing across industrial value chains.
We thank Bloomhaus Ventures, Bloom Foundation, Founders2, and the Startup Nights organizing team for creating a platform that empowers founders, investors, and future innovators alike. Special thanks to all partners, educators, and students involved for their thoughtful evaluation and engagement.
These recognitions underscore Verretex’s mission to scale circular composite materials and accelerate the transition toward a more sustainable industrial economy.
