Verretex Wins the Audrey & Herbert Rosenfield Prize at La Forge Demo Day

Recognized for High-Impact Innovation in Circular Composite Materials
Verretex is honored to have been awarded the Audrey & Herbert Rosenfield Prize at La Forge Demo Day, a distinction that celebrates innovation with meaningful and measurable real-world impact.
The Rosenfield Prize recognizes startups developing technologies capable of transforming industries while addressing pressing environmental and societal challenges. Being selected for this award underscores Verretex’s mission to build the global circular economy for composite materials by enabling the high-value reuse of recycled glass fibers.
At Verretex, we are unlocking a critical missing link in composite recycling—recovering and directly reusing short glass fibers that are currently discarded despite retaining significant material value. This approach reduces waste, improves resource efficiency, and supports more sustainable industrial value chains across sectors such as renewable energy, mobility, and advanced manufacturing.
Receiving this recognition alongside the outstanding work of Bonescreen and MedSol AI Solutions highlights the breadth of impactful innovation emerging from the Swiss deep-tech ecosystem and reinforces the urgency of scaling sustainable technologies.
We extend our sincere thanks to La Forge, EPFL Innovation Park, and Tom Rosenfield, trustee of the Rosenfield Prize, for their continued support of founders working to drive positive industrial and societal change. We are also grateful to the event organizers, partners, and sponsors—particularly SAP and the Canton of Vaud—for fostering an ecosystem in which innovation like ours can thrive.
This award further validates Verretex’s vision and strengthens our commitment to accelerating the transition toward a more circular, resilient, and sustainable materials economy.
